ReplyDeleteHey Traelia.
ReplyDeleteI'm learning how to make poses, but I was wondering.. which angle (left-right-front-top etc) and which assignment do I need to make a smile on the sim? Everytime when I try to adjust the mouth, I either screw up by choosing the wrong assignment or the wrong angle and then my pose is all ruined. D: which is sad because body-like my poses are fine..
Hope you can tell me.. ^^
Okay so the easiest way to make a sim smile is by choosing "right_mouth" or "left_mouth" and choosing "move" (make sure to lock the x and z axis) and while in front view move those assignments up or down as you see fit. It's important to always do your facial expressions FIRST, before you make ANY changes to the starting pose. Because you have to use "move" instead of "rotate", it is crucial that the pose be in it's original state, to maintain it looking real. You can then adjust the top lip and bottom lip assignments to make a bigger smile using "move", and so on, just make sure all adjustments are made before you get started on everything else!
DeleteHope this helps!
Ah! Yay! You´ve helped me out so much <3 Thank you so much. I thought I should never use "move" but for making the sim sit lower etc. Haha, a whole new world in posing is opening up for me. You are awesome, Traelia.
DeleteYeah other than facial expressions, you should only use move for adjusting the height of the whole pose. But you're welcome!
DeleteAh.. Sorry to bother you again, but do you know of some kind of tutorial on how to put the poses into the poselist?
ReplyDeleteIf you go to the mts page for the pose player and go to the download tab, there's a download for the Poselistkit. That has instructions and everything you need in it.
